Bill Marler - "I would be remiss if I didn't mention one final reason why the CEO and boards need to pay attention to FSMA. That would be these two words:

"Criminal Sanctions."

Recalls, Transportation and Food Poisoning

Microbial contamination is the biggest reason for US food recalls and the single most costly aspect of the recall event.  Once a food is deemed adulterated it must be destroyed.  With over 47% of recalls being a direct result of microbial contamination, the use of an efficacious, safe and cost effective sanitation program for transportation will contribute to the overall health of in-transit dry loads and fresh produce, save money and help avoid the consequences associated with food borne illness.  Checking at the destination dock that each load has been shipped in a properly sanitized container is confirmed at the push of a button. Life-cycle tracking from field to fork and overall auditing is simplified and more transparent.

Our custom sanitizer and disinfectant formulas targeting food borne pathogens, food safety challenges caused by microbial contamination is mitigated while food is being transported.
